North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) on April 29, 2024, was forever changed again. NCDAC lost not only staff members but also family members Alden Elliott and Samuel Poloche. They loved their families, friends and believed in their jobs. I was with the families in the early days when the families were not sure how they would pay their next bill. Then the day Tunnel to Towers contacted them they could again begin to breath. I saw firsthand how this organization helped these two families.
